    Gas, Electricity

The Seoul City Gas Co. Ltd. is the main supplier of natural gas to residential, commercial, industrial and other consumers in the Seoul region. The Company distributes city gas to 11 districts of Seoul, Kimpo City, Koyang City and Paju City. South Korea has limited domestic energy resources and is almost entirely dependent on imported oil and gas to meet its energy consumption needs.

South Korea uses a 220 volts AC (60 Hz) domestic electrical supply, generally with the European two-pronged plug type.

    Water

The waterworks of the Seoul metropolitan government supply clean water to more than 10.42 million citizens.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government has put in place various policies aimed at providing its residents with safe and good quality tap water including a real time monitoring system which was opened to the public through their homepage in 2008.
