International schools in Brazil are quite expensive, but may be compensated by your company. Children of the Brazilian elite and foreigners attend these schools primarily. There are also schools that offer boarding as outside of the large cities, rural areas are underserved.

Most schools cater to a majority American and Brazilian population (with the exception of the British School). They serve ages from pre-school all the way to pre-university. Tuition ranges from 16-29,000 American dollars a year. Often times American dollars are the preferred payment currency.
