    Doing an internship in Munich is an excellent way to experience working life in this global city. Munich is home to the head quarters of many international companies but remember that even if English is the official language, German will probably the ‘unofficial official’ language in the company.     EU programme: Leonardo da Vinci

    The Leonardo da Vinci Community vocational training action programme, introduced in 1994, promotes projects based on co-operation between the various players in vocational training - training bodies, vocational schools, universities, businesses, chambers of commerce, etc.

    Community funds for the first phase of the programme amounted to 800 million between 1995 and 2001, and 125 000 people received a grant for a work-related stay abroad.

    The program targets:

    • young people below 28 years. The program concurs to realize an experience that can go on from a minimum of three weeks to a maximum of nine months according to the level of formation;
    • young people below 28 years with a professional title: it is possible to carry out a job training in a company (for a period between three and twelve months) in the working market of another European State;
    • young university student : it is possible to work for some months (minimum three, maximum twelve) in a company of another European State.
