Mumbai is home to some museums. Surprisingly enough it houses the only sex museum in the country and even more surprisingly is that very few people actually know about it. The Royal Opera House in Mumbai was the only opera house in the country. It is now however closed as movies became more popular than opera. Mumbai is however a hotbed of theatre groups.
