Negative experiences with "Learn French in Geneva"
I took French classes with Learn French in Geneva, yet unfortunately my experience were very negative.

After I prepaid for 10 classes, I was unable to take any of these classes due to personal reasons (my wife got very sick), and asked for a reimbursement, minus administrative costs.

They refused to reimburse any of money already paid (1050 CHF), instead offering to extend the time frame in which classes can be taken, even though they are aware of my personal situation.

While this may - or may not - be perfectly in line with their terms, I am quite astonished by the lack of passion and business behaviour. I strongly recommend potential future customers of "Learn French in Geneva" to consider this business behavior, and existing customers to reconsider their engagement with this company, given that there is a range of highly recommended schools existing in Geneva.

If you are an existing customer and feel that “Learn French in Geneva” should reconsider their position and reimburse money for services not rendered in such a situation, I’d very much appreciate if you could talk to your teacher about this and encourage them to reconsider their decision. And if any of the other teachers employed by “Learn French in Geneva” feel read this, I'd appreciate if you could talk to her.

Experienced French Tutor
Hello,
I currently work for 2 international tutoring schools.
Because of my professional background with UHNWI (I used to be a senior asset manager in Geneva) I can easily teach people from all horizons and social levels.
I have been teaching French for the last 20 years, am a French native, have grown up in NYC, thus am perfectly bilingual.
I tailor my classes to one's needs: from A1 to C2; my method is based on Internet exercises, paper book exercises, reading, speaking and writing. I mix lots of different techniques according to level and needs and my teaching evolves with the student's progress.
I can teach anywhere in Geneva from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., from Monday to Friday, provided we can access internet or Wifi. Lunch break slots are quite busy.
Currently teaching one on ones at a permanent foreign Mission in Geneva. On-going multi private lessons as well. Numerous references available upon request.
