Unemployment Benefits


People aged 16 and over and who are unemployed in Spain, they can apply for Unemployment Benefit. SEPE (Servicio Público de Empleo Estatal) is in charge of compensating unemployment benefits to social security system members in Spain.

Unemployment benefits don't allow you to survive. Benefits start at €497 per month for a person with no children under his/her dependence.
