Many people have maids in Singapore, and if you decide to hire one you may not need a babysitter. There are many babysitting agencies available, however, or you could look through the Classifieds section of the newspaper. Word-of mouth may also prove helpful, and perhaps more secure if you're reluctant to leave a complete stranger alone in your home and with your child.
