Hotels and Bed and Breakfast in Manila

Tools:

The Philippines has a variety of accommodations across the country and Manila has innumerable hotel options. Even so, major events and holidays result in crowded conditions with many hotels overbooked.

Hotel prices can go up during peak season but a wide range of affordable accommodations can be found. To find the best deals, book well in advance. Mid-range hotels can be booked for about PHP 2500 a night, with many options above and below that price range.

Finding Lodging

The Department of Tourism campaign page offers options to find accommodations. They also have a homestay program which allows you to experience the Filipino way of life while getting to know the people up close. You can inquire by sending an email to dotsdd@yahoo.com.

Guest houses or pension houses can offer a low cost option during vacation time (summer or Christmas). Though not hotel standard, they usually have excellent value with good locations.
