Internship abroad

Internships are an excellent tool for advancing your skills in a field of interest. These positions help young adults find a career path, test their aptitude for certain kinds of work, and further develop their resume or CV. Internships are almost always unpaid as what they are gaining are skills and experience and the company is gaining a set of free hands. It is critical to find the right match so that the relationship is beneficial to both intern and company.

Completing an internship abroad adds an element of excitement and sets your experience apart. An professional experience abroad also requires a greater degree of maturity and independent. It is important that you adapt to the new environment as it does not adjust to you.

To secure an internship aboard, it is necessary to either apply to a company that sets up the externship for you, or have a contact in Norway. This process can be quite rigorous as an internship can lead to a full-time position. Full time students have the easiest time finding internships because of their age, lack of real life skills, amount of free time, and education. Occasionally, internships can be set up through a university program.

Companies that can arrange internships:
IAESTE Norway- provides training program opportunities to technical students and graduates.
Accenture- offers experience in a consulting office
Strategy& - internships for undergraduate and MBA students. These internships are usually 8-12 weeks long and are offered throughout the year.

Most of these agencies help arrange visas for their interns, but if you need additional help and want to hire a company to take care of the legalities, a visa agency can arrange a visa.
Travel Visa Pro, San Francisco, USA. (866) 378-1722 or www.TravelVisaPro.com.

Many of the volunteer abroad programs have similar internships or experiences that can double as internships.
