There is a wide selection of international schools and kindergartens, each with its own unique approach to education. Some schools offer an International Baccalaureate and General Certificate of Secondary Education. There are also schools that provide a non-English education (e.g. French, Japanese, German) that can help an expat student feel more at home. Space is often limited and preference may be given to students based on nationality. Admission and enrollment procedures vary from school to school.

International schools are very expensive, but usually offer higher standards of learning, boast smaller class sizes, and better future opportunities.

• Khalil Gibran School Rabat - (Avenue Bir Kacem, Soussi, Rabat, Morocco) Moroccan and British English International School founded in 1986 by Fouad Lyoubi. Caters to children from 4 to 18 years old. The curriculum is a combination of Moroccan, British and American educational programs, fully tri-lingual (Arabic, English, French). KGS is licensed by Cambridge University International Examinations (CIE) in collaboration with the British Council. In 1999 Khalil Gibran School was the first school in the Kingdom to offer the British International General Certificate of Education qualifications (IGCSE).
• American Academy Casablanca - (21 Rue des Papillons, Oasis, Casablanca, Morocco) The student body is organized into twelve grades. English is the primary language of instruction in Language Arts, Literature, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science. Both Arabic and French language are also taught.
• Casablanca American School (CAS) - (Route de la Mecque, Lotissement Ougoug, Quartier Californie, Casablanca, Morocco, 20150; E-mail: cas@cas.ac.ma; Telephone: +212-522-21-41-15) Adheres to an American Educational system.
• George Washington Academy - K-12 Private American school
• Rabat American School - Independent, coeducational school, which offers an American educational program from pre kindergarten through grade 12. The School was founded in 1962 with an academic year of three trimesters extending from the middle of August to the middle of June.
• International School of Morocco - International English language day school.
