The newspaper Athens News offers three internship positions each summer. The work involves newsroom production duties, with an opportunity for limited newsgathering and writing. If interns have time, they are invited to research and write brief articles and will receive advice from newspaper staff. Interns are also invited to attend the weekly editorial meetings and see how story assignment decisions are made. Their work is appraised throughout the internship. The internships pay a fee of 1,000 euros each before tax, to cover public transport and meals. Excellent command of the English language and interest and ability in writing/editing are essential. Candidates with knowledge of Greek are favoured. Applicants should send a covering letter, résumé and three writing samples to:
