International schools are much more expensive than the public school options, but may offer an advanced curriculum, or simply cater to the language needs of a student. International schools can be very helpful in maintaining a sense of national identity when abroad. They are also helpful for students from the Czech Republic to be able to observe and participate in an international environment. For students that wish to attend an international school there are several different options.

International School of Prague
The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma program to students in grades 11 and 12.
