Emergency room visits are covered by the state OHIP insurance. If you need to take an ambulance to an emergency room, OHIP requires that you pay a co-pay of $45 to help cover the cost unless the physical deems your ambulance ride medically necessary.  Ambulance and emergency room costs will vary if you have a private insurance plan.

If you require emergency medical care, please dial 9-1-1. If possible please be prepared to give your location to the operator.
