Pharmacies in Andorra

Drugs and medicines (medicines/medicaments) prescribed by a doctor are obtained from a pharmacy (farmàcia) denoted by the sign of a green cross.

Most pharmacies are open from 9:30am until 1:30pm and from 4:30pm until 8pm from Monday to Saturday. Outside normal opening hours, a notice is posted giving the address of the nearest duty pharmacy (farmàcia de guardia) open after 8pm and during all night long.

There are 24-hour duty pharmacies in all towns (usually indicated with a red light). When visiting a duty pharmacy outside normal hours, you will usually have to ring a bell, speak to the pharmacist behind a bulletproof glass door and be served through a small hatch.

You can find the closest pharmacy to you in the following complete list of pharmacies.
