KVUC is the Copenhagen Adult Learning Centre. All adults of 18 years and
more have a right of access to General Adult Education. Upon successful
completion of basic exams, the adults have a right of access to general adult
education at upper secondary level, with a corresponding obligation for the
regional authorities to ensure provision of such education in accordance with
the law.
Additionally, KVUC gives lessons in
- Very basic Danish and mathematics
- Special education for dyslexic people
- Danish as a second language and other subjects, especially
for people with an ethnic background other than Danish
- Specially arranged further training for a large number of
public as well as private businesses and institutions in Copenhagen
- Competency development and retraining of unemployed people
for municipal and national employment offices.

is another famous institute that offers teacher training for adults.
