    European and international city, you can almost find everything in Brussels. It still exists a few commercial centres downtown, but most of the big malls are around the city.

    The commercal areas are:

    • Rue Neuve Galeria (shopping gallery, FNAC,...)
    • Centre Monnaie
    • Around the Stock Exchange
    • rue du Midi (stamps, philately)
    • Galerie Bortier (book shops)
    • Le Sablon (antic shops)
    • Avenue Louise
    • Porte de Namur - porte Louise (the Champs-Elysées in Brussels!)

    The shopping areas in Brussels have their website: http://www.quartierscommercants.be. You will find different shops in the Brabant area, Brussels Centre, Flagey, Rue des Hauts-Blaes, Saint Gilles Centre...etc. You will find also a list of Belgian shops here.

    Night owls can go shopping in 6 areas of the Belgian capital:

    • La cuisine belge et française from Frederiksborg is open 24h. Avenue Broustin, 1083 Bruxelles (Ganshoren).
    • Le Rendez-vous des artistes, rue Dejoncker 24, 1060 Bruxelles, parallel street to Avenue Louise.
    • Friterie de la Barrière, a the beginning of the Avenue du Parc, on the right, at 20 meters from the Barrière de Saint-Gilles (1060).
    • Boulangerie Le Vatel, located Place Jourdan in Etterbeek (in front of Antoine fries shop).
    • You will find the Belgian and international newspapers until dawn in a shop located Rue au beurre, close to the Grande Place of Brussels.
    • The Post office located Avenue Fonsny, a few meters on the right from the station of gare du Midi, is open up to 10pm on Saturday and from 11am to 7pm on Sunday.
    • Centre Dentaire Meiser, number 1, place Meiser, 1030 Bruxelles, in front of the tram stops.
