Two things not to be missed in Brussels: fries and chocolates (Despite what american people think, fries come from Belgium. They were discovered at the end of the second World War when american soldiers saw fries and, because people around them in Belgium where speaking French, they called them French fries).You can select a restaurant in the guide http://www.resto.be. And of course the famous Chez Léon 1893, 18, Rue des Bouchers where to taste dozens of typical recipies with mussels and fries. For the chocolates, you can visit Wittamer Chocolatier, Place du Grand Sablon or Pierre Marcolini at the same place. Passion Chocolat is a bit further, but its artisanal chocolates are delicious.
