    Post offices in Spain are known as Corey. Offices are open Mondays to Saturdays from 8:00 to 12:00, and 17:00 to 19:30. Larger post offices will stay open through lunch. Mail boxes are located throughout the city and can be identified by their bright yellow color.

    Stamps (sells) can be bought in post offices, tobacconists (brown and yellow labeled), hotel receptions, and sometimes in stands selling postcards.

    Postal codes were introduced and standardized in Spain in 1976.

    • Letters within Spain (up to 20 grams) - .35
    • Letters within Spain (over 20 grams) - .50 or more

    • Letters outside of Spain (over 20 grams) - 1.30 or more
