Bus
Bus is one of the main modes of public transportation. Bangalore Metropolitan
Transport Corporation (BMTC) operates more than three thousand public buses,

Autorickshaw
Three wheeled auto rickshaws or autos are the most used means to commute
within the city. They have an electronic meter that displays the fare at the
end of the journey. They can take in up to three passengers and offer a cheap
and quick option of commuting.
Taxis
For those of you who prefer four wheels to three, taxi service within Bangalore
is provided by several private operators and are commonly called '
City
Taxis'. They can accommodate four passengers. These taxis also have an
electronic meter that displays the fare, but are relatively more expensive than
autos.
