Launched in 2000, what does the V.I.E (Volontariat International Exchange)
stand for? It was created to help French companies to send young people with
diplomas for a specific mission from 6 to 24 months. The candidate must be older
than 18 and younger than 28 years. He can be paid according to the mission and
the company who hire him.
A Candidate for a V.I.E must receive a J1 visa
from the embassy to be allowed to work in the US.
